The 5th District FFR planning committee is happy to provide a few fun filled activities on Saturday, 7/26 during our 46th Ford Family Reunion weekend. Organized activities will be offered to all attendees, however, RSVP and Sign-up is HIGHLY encouraged to ensure that we are able to meet the demand. Please see below for activity details. We are happy to provide a Society Hill, SC Legacy Tour! The travel coach will leave promptly on Saturday, 7/26 @ 8:45am from the front of the Hilton Hotel. The total round trip time is estimated~5hrs. Tour participants will be shuttled by travel coach for the 1.5 hour transit time to/from Society Hill, the birth place of one of our patriarchs- Charlie Ford. You will enjoy a history lesson at historical sites within the Society Hill community. Light snacks and water will be provided for the trip. It’s a TEEN TAKEOVER! We are encouraging our teens and young adults to give back through community service on Saturday, 7/26 from 9-10:30am at the Harvest Hope Foodbank in the name and honor of our beloved Vince Ford. Harvest Hope Foodbank is one of Vince’s most beloved charities in the Columbia SC area. Harvest Hope is South Carolina’s largest food bank, providing over 50,000 meals a week for those suffering from hunger. Participants will be shuttled and chaperoned by an adult family member and are requested to wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. No maximum capacity, but name registration is required..
